Fakhruddin Khambaty

Hi, I'm Fakhruddin. I built this site to share what I've learned in data engineering and analytics—in the simplest way I know how. If I could understand it, so can you (and I make sure of that).

Why This Website Exists

In a world of course overload—everyone claiming to be the best—I wanted something genuinely useful. I keep the cost as low as I can: just enough to keep the lights on and the content growing. Most courses and projects are behind a small Pro subscription; the goal isn't to get rich, it's to stay sustainable so I can keep adding material. Boring but honest.

These are my own learning notes, turned into a website. I wrote them while learning data engineering and data science. I don't claim to know every corner of every topic—but thanks to this site, I can always come back, refresh, and teach others. The best way to learn is to teach. (I'm not making that up.)

I explain everything the way I wish someone had explained it to me: databases are filing cabinets, APIs are restaurant waiters, SQL is a conversation with your data. If it took me three coffees to get it, I made sure the explanation here is worth at most one.

Whether you're switching careers, a student, or just data-curious—I hope these notes help. One simple explanation at a time. And maybe a few bad jokes.

Learnings and notes curated by Fakhruddin Khambaty. Typos and dad jokes are his own.
